Kate Dickinson - Writer/Actor

Kate Dickinson has had her writing habit all her life, but it wasn't until 5 years ago that she decided to pursue it further. As Co-Artistic Director of APT Theater, she has written and produced several original plays with her long-time friend and colleague, Justin Goodemoot. BANE is her first feature-length screenplay.

Prior to her commitment to writing, she graduated from Western Michigan University with a B.A. in Theater Performance. She has performed in several productions around New York City since moving from Michigan in 2007. 

She is currently working on her first short with APT that will premiere on the web in September 2016.

Justin Rodriguez - Director of Cinematography 

Beginning his career at 15, Justin has had a successful 8 years in the media and film industry. He began his career as on-camera talent and then transitioned to behind the scenes. Working for "BronxNet" allowed him to produce and Emmy Nominated talk show, as well as shoot and edit numerous in the field video stories. Over time he began to work in film with "LIONROSE" Production house working as a cinematographer and production manager. Both films and music videos have widened his experience behind the camera, picking up skills on DSLRS, Black Magic 4K cinema cameras, and Sony NX. For him, it's about finding his vision to best tell the story, letting the moving images create a path for the audience to follow and connect wight the characters.

ABEX EFFECTS/Ashleigh Becker - Makeup 

ABEX EFFECTS is Ashleigh Becker, a New York City based artist, specializing in stage, performance, fantasy, and horror designs. She was one of the first two graduates of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts New Studio on Broadway for Musical Theatre, class of 2012. She has down makeup workshops with Cirque du Soleil's Varekai touring company, and collaborates regularly with New York based artists and theatre companies. Recent NY credits include: Sergei in Storm Theatre's production of Collaborators; James Bonner in APT Theater's Banefor the Psycho Clan's Nightmare Horror Show; Shawn in APT Theater's The Shaming; Craig Bathamana in RiskyMilk's production of The Perilous Journey of the Courageous Captain Bathamana; and Lovis Bevil in Dot The Connective’s original rock-opera, Löve in a Tub.

When not polishing his acting chops, Josh enjoys history, geopolitics, language acquisition, world travel, playing music, comedy, home-brewing, a Cuban cigar, & Oxford commas.
